At Palau eco resort we care greatly about preserving the beautiful wildlife and landscape that Palau has to offer. We feel it is extremely important to nurture and preserve the breath-taking natural environment of the Palau islands. To achieve this we have an eco-friendly approach to everything we do limiting our carbon footprint wherever possible.
We aim to set up long term conservations programmes with the goal to protect and increase the populations of critically endangered species on the island. We also aim to raise awareness and provide education on current conservation issues.
We aim to give back to the local community by involving local people and companies creating numerous jobs in a diverse range of sectors. Employing and involving the local community with our venture helps to provide the most authentic Palauan experience possible.

70% of all energy used is renewable supplies by solar panels located on the rooves of all buildings on the site.

All of our buildings are built with locally sourced materials.

The resort has large water facilities supplied by rainwater and deep wells where water is stored and treated so water is supplied to the whole resort even in the dry season.
